Last Tuesday, our 8th grade earth science class took a field trip to visit the SFA planetarium. They got a tour of the fall night sky, were able to enjoy a show on black holes, and walked through the scale model of the outer planets in the plaza. When we consider the heavens, what is man that God is mindful of him!?
Last Friday during Cantabile, our students got to enjoy hearing from another one of our dads, Mr. Nathan Ketchen. In light of so much confusion regarding the person and work of our Savior these days, Mr. Ketchen reminded us of Peter’s confession: that Jesus is the Messiah, the Son of the living God. Thank you, Mr. Ketchen, for the encouraging word!
Last Friday we honored our three senior soccer players. Owen and Seth have been crucial members of the team all through high school, and Anna Claire joined the team this year and immediately became an important player. They all hold the team together with their skill, leadership, and good attitudes. We’ve loved having them and are soaking up our last few games with them on the team. We’ll miss them a lot next year!
During our staff work day, Sheriff Bob Hurst and CPR instructor Mr. Forrest King trained Regents Academy faculty and staff to help ensure the safety of our students. At Regents, we strive not only to provide excellent education but also a safe environment for our students. Thank you, Sheriff Hurst and Mr. King!
Another class tradition and student favorite: Here’s 2nd grade weaving history, literature, and Bible together in their building of the Tower of Babel.
