Teaching

KPrep Teacher (Part-Time)

Regents is seeking a part-time KPrep teacher to oversee instruction to our new half-day student program (3-day/5-day). The ideal candidate will have experience teaching phonics/reading, spelling/penmanship, math, history/geography, science, and Bible in a Christian context that cultivates wonder, worship, work, and wisdom.

Second Grade Teacher (Full-Time)

Regents is seeking a full-time second grade teacher who loves students, fully embraces the classical Christian model of education, and demonstrates a commitment to professional development. The ideal candidate will have experience teaching in a comparable context and know how to instill in students a love for learning and others.

Reading/Literacy Specialist (Full-Time)

Regents is seeking a full-time reading/literacy specialist to work intensively with students who require remediation in the language arts. Certification in Barton, Neuhaus, or a comparable dyslexia training program is strongly preferred but not required. Candidates without certification will be required to begin the necessary training in the summer before the academic year begins.

Music Teacher (KPrep-2nd Grade; Part-Time)

Regents is seeking to hire a part-time music teacher for its lower school (KPrep-2nd Grade). The ideal candidate will have: experience singing in and directing a choir; proficiency in choral sound production, conducting, and sight-singing; a functional knowledge of solfege, choral music, and music history; and familiarity with classical Christian education.

Upper School Humanities Teacher (Omnibus II – Christendom II; Writing I & II; Full-Time)

Regents is seeking a full-time Omnibus II (Christendom I) or Omnibus IV (Antiquity II) and Writing I & II (7th/8th) teacher who loves students, fully embraces the classical Christian model of education, and demonstrates a commitment to professional development. The ideal candidate will have experience teaching in a comparable context and know how to instill in students a love for learning and others.

Upper School Humanities Teacher (Omnibus II – Christendom I; or Omnibus IV – Antiquity II; Part-Time)

Regents is seeking a part-time (50%) Omnibus II (Christendom I) or Omnibus IV (Antiquity II) teacher who loves students, fully embraces the classical Christian model of education, and demonstrates a commitment to professional development. The ideal candidate will have experience teaching in a comparable context and know how to instill in students a love for learning and others.

Drama Teacher (5th-12th Grade; Part-Time)

Regents is seeking a part-time drama teacher who loves students, fully embraces the classical Christian model of education, and demonstrates a commitment to professional development.
