Regents Academy, a PK–12 classical Christian school in Nacogdoches, Texas, seeks a full-time Grammar School teacher for the 2026–2027 academic year. Our mission is to serve families by providing a distinctly classical and decidedly Christian education that equips students to pursue truth, goodness, and beauty under the lordship of Jesus Christ.
The Grammar School teacher will instruct elementary students in core subjects within a classical framework, cultivate a joyful and orderly classroom, and partner with parents in the formation of students’ character and love of learning. Candidates should demonstrate a vibrant Christian faith, a commitment to classical Christian education, and strong classroom leadership.
A bachelor’s degree is required; teaching experience is preferred. Training or experience in classical education is a plus.

Regents Academy is seeking a part-time Upper School Omnibus Teacher who loves Christ, loves students, and delights in the pursuit of truth, goodness, and beauty through great books, history, theology, and discussion. The ideal candidate will be passionate about classical Christian education and able to cultivate wisdom, virtue, and wonder in students through thoughtful instruction and discussion.
The primary responsibilities of a teacher at Regents Academy are to love students, love learning, and serve parents. When faithfully carried out, the teacher equips students with the tools of learning and cultivates humility and gratitude toward God. This individual should exemplify a lifestyle that honors Christ and demonstrate a commitment to the mission and vision of Regents Academy.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
- Teach upper school Omnibus courses integrating history, literature, theology, and philosophy
- Lead discussion-based classes using Socratic methods and primary source texts
- Cultivate strong reading, writing, speaking, and critical thinking skills
- Foster a classroom culture marked by joyful rigor, curiosity, order, and respect
- Communicate clearly with parents, students, and colleagues
- Participate in faculty meetings, assemblies, and school events
- Model Christian character and integrate faith and learning throughout instruction
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree required; humanities-related field preferred
- Teaching experience preferred, especially in a classical Christian setting
- Familiarity with classical Christian education and the Great Books tradition strongly preferred
- Strong communication and classroom leadership skills
- A love for students, learning, and meaningful discussion
Regents Academy is seeking a part-time Upper School Art Teacher to teach students in grades 7–12 within a distinctly classical and decidedly Christian environment. The ideal candidate will love students, love learning, and understand the role of beauty and creativity within a classical Christian education.
The teacher should be familiar with a variety of artistic techniques and mediums, art appreciation, art history, and criticism, while helping students view art as the skillful recreation of God’s world.
Essential Responsibilities
- Teach upper school art courses for grades 7–12
- Foster a joyful, orderly, and engaging classroom environment
- Teach a variety of artistic techniques, mediums, and art history concepts
- Integrate a Christian worldview into instruction and classroom culture
- Help students grow in creativity, craftsmanship, attentiveness, and discipline
- Communicate regularly and professionally with parents
- Collaborate with faculty and administration on projects and school events
- Maintain a clean and organized classroom
- Seek opportunities to showcase student artwork within the school and community
- Demonstrate professionalism through preparation, punctuality, attitude, and service
Qualifications
- Commitment to the Christian faith and the mission of Regents Academy
- Bachelor’s degree
- Teaching experience preferred, especially with junior high and high school students
- Appreciation for classical Christian education
- Strong classroom management and communication skills
Regents Academy is seeking a part-time PE teacher to lead physical education classes for junior high and high school boys.
Classes meet two days per week in the afternoon.
The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong classroom management skills and a clear understanding of the physical and developmental needs of boys in grades 6–12. The teacher should be able to lead structured, engaging activities that promote physical fitness, teamwork, discipline, and Christian character.
Experience working with adolescent boys in a school or coaching context is preferred. A commitment to classical Christian education and the ability to model godly behavior are essential.
Regents Academy seeks a Development Assistant to support the Headmaster in cultivating relationships with donors and advancing the mission of the school. We believe fundraising is fundamentally relational and transformational, focused on building meaningful partnerships with those who care about classical Christian education.
The Development Assistant will help strengthen relationships with parents, alumni, and friends of the school through communication, donor follow-up, and phone calls. This role will also assist in planning and coordinating fundraising efforts, including BIG Serve, our primary fundraising event.
The ideal candidate enjoys connecting with people, is comfortable speaking on the phone, and is highly organized. Strong communication skills, attention to detail, and a passion for the mission of Regents Academy are essential. Experience in fundraising or event planning is helpful but not required.
