Mission Statement
We want to semi-tailor for our students a first-hand experience of the many cultures and places they’ve studied in history, literature, language, and theology while gaining confidence in their personal ability to interact with and navigate within a foreign country/culture so they can ultimately be more effective servants of Christ in His kingdom.
Overview
Each year Regents’ senior trip is organized by the students during their junior year under the supervision of our Director of Curriculum & Instruction, Mrs. Becky McMorries. The trip is fully curricular and occurs in the fall of the students’ senior year. Students are split into small groups and build their own itineraries ahead of time. They are responsible for researching required sites and how they will get around a city. A chaperone stays with the groups, but the students are highly encouraged to execute their itineraries and solve for problems as they arise. They also have class assignments during and after the trip.
