Mission Statement
We want to semi-tailor for our students a first-hand experience of the many cultures and places they’ve studied in history, literature, language, and theology while gaining confidence in their personal ability to interact with and navigate within a foreign country/culture so they can ultimately be more effective servants of Christ in His kingdom.
Itinerary and Cost
Each year Regents’ senior trip is organized by the students during their junior year under the supervision of our Director of Curriculum & Instruction, Mrs. Becky McMorries. The trip is fully curricular (i.e., it is not a vacation) and occurs in March of the students’ junior year. While students build out their itineraries ahead of time, they are required to visit certain amount of historic sites. They also have class assignments due before, during, and after the trip.
As the trip is currently organized, the itinerary is as follows:
- Three days in London (British Museum; National Gallery; Westminster Abbey; St. James Cathedral; Tower of London; Globe Theatre)
- One day in Oxford (The Inklings Tour; punting at Oxford University)
- One day in Salisbury (Stonehenge; Salisbury Cathedral)
- One day in Paris (Notre Dame; The Louvre; Eiffel Tower; Arc de Triomphe; Sacré-Coeur)
The cost of the trip is included in the students’ annual tuition. Only the cost of food and souvenirs is the students’ responsibility to pay.
