KPrep Music

At Regents Academy, even our youngest students receive formal instruction in music. In our KPrep class, the goal is to build a sturdy foundation for the students to continue to build upon in the years to come. View this video, where the students are learning a rhythm activity called “Blue Jello.” This exercise requires the recitation of words that correspond with specific rhythms. While our students usually clap the rhythms, here they decided to slow it down and jump to the beats.
