Regents Academy students achieve national recognition in the Universal Latin Exam

We are thrilled to announce that seven of our eighth-grade Latin students have received national honors for their exceptional knowledge of Latin grammar, surpassing other students nationwide in the Universal Latin Exam, a new standardized test created in 2022 by the Institute for Classical Languages.

Jake Hancock, Joelle Quant, and Emory Cobb received the Augustus Award for scoring in the 85th – 100th percentile, nationwide.

Liam Shipp, Nikolai DonCarlos, Natalie Ketchen, and Dennis Choi scored in the 70th – 84th percentile, nationwide, and received the Caesar Award.
