5th Grade Colonial Day

In view of their study of early American history and literature, the 5th Grade class celebrated their annual Colonial Day on November 17. The students read about life in a New England colonial village, and then they put their knowledge to practice through hands-on crafts such as cross-stitching and making corn husk dolls. The students enjoyed a colonial feast, made their own butter, and sampled it with homemade bread. Thank you to the many volunteers who made this celebration possible!
