Theater is an essential and exciting part of Regents Academy’s arts curriculum.
Students in 5th-6th grades study basic dramatic technique and stagecraft for one semester each year. The class culminates in a fall dramatic performance for the school and for family members. Students in 7th-12th grades have the option of taking drama. They study basic and intermediate dramatic technique and stagecraft in the spring each year through the vehicle of a fully-staged theatrical production. In recent years, the class has performed “Frankenstein” and “The Importance of Being Earnest.”
