Johnny Tremain Day

It was costume day in the 5th grade! After finishing reading Johnny Tremain, a historical novel set during the Revolutionary War, the Regents fifth grade, led by their teacher Ruth Hoffmann, dressed up as characters from the story and did research projects on famous men from that era.

Drama Presentation: "The Hobbit"
The Regents Drama Department and Drama Teacher Ashley Bryant welcome you to the 7th-12th grade production of "The Hobbit" at New Hope Church on Friday, May 18, at 6:30 p.m. The students have been hard at work and are looking forward to presenting this classic play for our community. There is a suggested donation of $3 per person at the door.

School Survey
All families are being given a school survey. The Regents board and administration are very interested in your input. We want to hear from you so that we can know how to make our school better. Note that there are three separate survey forms. Each Regents family is receiving a Family Survey that asks general questions about the school. Also, families will find Grammar and Secondary Surveys depending on the ages of their children. Please take the time to fill out all survey forms give to you and return them to the school office by May 18. There is an envelope marked "Surveys" at the school office where you can place your survey forms.

ACCS Conference
For some months now, we have been encouraging parents to consider going to the ACCS Conference in Dallas on June 21-23. Your children's education is one of the most important commitments in your life, and it is certainly worth your time and money to invest in a better understanding the vision for classical Christian education. The cost of the conference is $200 per person. Note: for those who register and attend the ACCS conference, the Regents board will credit the cost of the conference toward your 2012-13 tuition. One parent attending receives $200 credit, and two receive $400 credit. Please go to accsedu.org or see Mr. Bryant for more information.
