Mrs. Jamie Wood is the teacher's aide for the 3rd-6th grades and the 7th grade writing teacher. Jamie has a B.S. in Hospitality Administration from Stephen F. Austin State University. Before becoming a stay-at-home mom, she worked for the College of Business at SFA. Jamie has been married to Chad for seventeen years, and they have two children, Alyssa and Clay, both of whom attend Regents Academy. Outside of school, Jamie enjoys traveling with her family, reading, cross stitching and embroidery, and walking the aisles of Hobby Lobby.

As a teacher's aide and writing teacher, Mrs. Wood aims to reflect God's truth, goodness, and beauty in all aspects of teaching. Each student is uniquely created by God and they can grow in both academic skill and development of virtue in the classroom environment. In writing, Mrs. Wood believes that words can express truth and it is important to guide students in learning language and communication to glorify and honor God.
