Rachel Shipp is a graduate of Veritas Classical Christian School, where she was educated during the early years of the modern classical Christian education resurgence. She later earned a Bachelor of Arts in Photography from Louisiana Tech University.

Rachel has devoted much of her career to Christian education. She has taught kindergarten at a classical Christian school, online ESL classes, private art lessons, and a variety of art courses at Regents Academy, where she enjoys helping students cultivate their appreciation of beauty and artistic skill. 

Rachel and her husband, Andrew, have been married for 21 years. Since moving to the area in 2013, they have been deeply invested in the life of Regents Academy. Together they are raising ten children, including two Regents graduates, six current Regents students, and two future Eagles.

Outside the classroom, Rachel enjoys photography, crocheting, and listening to audiobooks—usually at double speed. Their home is often filled with both delicious food and a steady stream of family and friends, reflecting the warmth and hospitality that characterize the Shipp family.
