Catherine Polk was born and raised in Nacogdoches, Texas, and is delighted to serve as the Grammar Art teacher at Regents Academy. She earned a Master of Education in Curriculum and Instruction from Concordia University Texas in Austin and holds a Bachelor of Arts in Studio Art with a minor in English from the University of Mississippi in Oxford.

Mrs. Polk believes that art is an important part of a child’s education. She enjoys helping students build artistic skills, grow in confidence, and develop an appreciation for beauty through the study of great artists and the world around them.

She and her husband, Aaron, are grateful to call Nacogdoches home, and their children proudly attend Regents Academy.
