Mrs. Emily McLemore
Omnibus (10th) & Drama (7th-12th)
Mrs. Emily McLemore teaches 10th Grade Omnibus IV (Antiquity II) and 7th-12th Grade Drama in the upper school, while also serving as Head of House for Oxford and overseeing social media marketing for Regents Academy. An alumna of Stephen F. Austin State University, she has a Bachelor of Arts in anthropology with a minor in Spanish. Within her fields of study, she has special interest in archaeology, linguistics, and mythology. Guiding her students to find the history in mythology, the mythology in history, and the gospel in the pagan, she seeks to deepen our culture’s collective understanding of the human condition in the light of Christ. Each year, she hopes that her students’ coursework reminds them that within man is implanted a desire for something bigger than himself – for the objectively Good, the objectively True, and the objectively Beautiful – just as it does for her.
