Logic Film History

Debra will be teaching the Film class for 7th and 8th grade students. Recently moving to Nacogdoches from central Florida, where she taught Christian Film at True North Academy. In the past she has worked for production companies in various capacities. Some of the projects she has worked on have won awards like: The Lawton Chiles Day in the Life of a Child Award, Telly Awards and Crystal Reel Awards. She has also taught at Conneticut School of Broadcasting, Florida Metropolitan University, and Orlando Tech. Working at Walt Disney World, she was at: Hollywood Studios One Man’s Dream, as a presenter and guide, and at the Caravan Theatre with “Flights of Wonder.” She has a Bachelor of Arts Degree from Rollins College, a Certificate in Television Production from Orlando Technical School, Final Cut Pro training from Invision Digital Media and NexGen Certification. Debra loves teaching film to students and feels blessed to be part of the Regents Academy family.
