Rick Hurst teaches 11th Grade Omnibus V (Christendom) at Regents Academy and 12th Grade Christian Apologetics.  A new course this year will be an elective – Spiritual Formation.

Rick’s undergraduate degree is in Chemistry, and he practiced Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery. In Nacogdoches and Lufkin for 42 years.   Much of his personal study is in the areas of literature, history, and basic sciences.  He became a Christian in college.  His motivation for teaching is to help teenagers develop a rich worldview with the Lord Jesus Christ as its defining focus. Rick and his wife, Christopha, have four children, ten grandchildren – eight of whom attend Regents and one great-grandson.
