Blaine Goodwyn is excited to join the Regents Academy family and teach alongside Mrs. Chapman in First Grade this year! A 2017 graduate of Stephen F. Austin State University with a B.S. in Human Development and Family Studies, she looks forward to helping her students discover that learning is a great adventure that points them to the truth, beauty, and goodness of God’s world.

Born and raised in Shelbyville, Texas, where her family has lived for six generations, Blaine makes the nearly hour-long drive to Regents each day. She has been married to her husband, T.J., for 11 years, and together they have three wonderful children: Judson, Jewel, and Dover, two of whom attend Regents.

When she’s not at school, the Goodwyns enjoy spending time at the lake and on the family farm with her parents, siblings, nieces, and nephews. Blaine believes some of life’s greatest blessings are found in muddy boots, long summer evenings, and a classroom full of curious first graders.
