Astrid Hogg teaches fifth grade in the grammar school. Astrid is a Nacogdoches native and graduated from Stephen F. Austin State University with a B.A. in Political Science and a minor in Marketing.

After spending years working in Washington, D.C. and abroad, she and her husband, Jim, decided to return to Nacogdoches to raise their family. They have two children at Regents; Sam and Abby. For fun, Astrid loves to travel, read, and spend time with her family.  

Helping students discover the unique talents and gifts God has given them is deeply rewarding. By fostering a positive and supportive environment; one where students are encouraged to overcome challenges, celebrate the success of others, pursue new goals, and remain truly grateful for God’s blessings will nurture not only their personal growth, but hopefully also a stronger, more meaningful relationship with God.
