Emily Atwood teaches Drama at Regents Academy. She has a B.A. in Humanities and is in the process of earning a M.A. in Theology, with a concentration in Women’s Studies.

Emily married Preston Atwood in 2008, and they have eight children. The older five children attend Regents currently, so when Emily is not teaching drama, she is doting on the three youngest children at home, running around taking care of a family, and managing the home. She particularly enjoys cooking, gardening, singing, and being outdoors as much as possible. Dates with her husband usually involve hole-in-the-wall international food restaurants; “family dates” almost always involve outdoor activities such as hiking, fishing, swimming, camping, or “playgrounding.”
