David Brewer teaches lower and upper school music. He has a Bachelor of Arts in Music from Northwest Missouri State University and a Master of Music in Choral Conducting from Oklahoma State University. Before joining the Regents Academy family, he worked as the Director of Music at Christ Episcopal Church of St. Joseph, Missouri. In 2020, he was awarded the Missouri Choral Directors Association Opus Award for Choral Composition Excellence for his work, Welcome Home.

Recently, David married his bride, Kathryn Barnes, who attends Stephen F. Austin State University as a music education major. David is a budding composer, with works published by Alliance Music Publications, Inc., Colla Voce Music, LLC, and through his website dwbrewermusic.com.
