Beginning Strings

The Regents Academy Beginning Strings program is operated in cooperation with Mr. Gene Moon, Director of Orchestras at Stephen F. Austin State University. The only parent obligation for this program is instrument rental and instruction booklet purchase. Students learn to play the violin, viola, and cello in group lessons each Monday and Thursday from 3:30 until 4:30 p.m.

Private Lessons

Private lessons for students studying the violin, viola, flute, piano or advanced voice instruction are offered through the Music Prep division of Stephen F. Austin State University. Many of our violin and viola students take their private lessons at the Regents Academy campus.
